Indian Board of Skill Development and School Education (IBSDSE) focuses on promoting school education and skill-development initiatives, particularly in rural and suburban communities. Education, practical skills and knowledge can help young people build confidence, improve employability and participate in India's social and economic development.
IBSDSE's stated areas of focus include women and child development, support for economically disadvantaged communities, SC/ST and minority welfare, health and fitness awareness, differently abled welfare, rural poverty alleviation, women’s entrepreneurship, financial assistance, start-up and NGO partnerships, and leadership training.
IBSDSE describes initiatives intended to connect skill development with employment and entrepreneurship. Its mobile food-truck project, CWV (Chai Wala Vahan), is presented as one such employment-oriented initiative. The organisation also describes training workshops, job fairs and entrepreneurship support through its partners.
To contribute to accessible school, technical and management education, while encouraging practical skills and lifelong learning for learners from different backgrounds.
We believe learning opportunities should reach beyond city centres. Community-focused education and relevant skill development can help learners prepare for further study, work and entrepreneurship.
